These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DocVeew website, the free web edition of the DocVeew application, and DocVeew Pro (together, the "App"), provided by Applings Studio, a brand of DTM STUDIO ("Applings Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
DocVeew is a browser-based document viewer, converter, and lightweight content editor. It is provided as a free web edition (with limited functionality) and as DocVeew Pro, available as a one-time purchase through the Applings Studio store. DocVeew does not require an account, and normal use of the App does not involve uploading the contents of your documents to an Applings Studio server.
Subject to these Terms, Applings Studio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal or internal business purposes. If you purchase DocVeew Pro, this license extends to the downloaded application file, for use on the devices you personally control. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or use the App to build a competing product or service.
You agree not to use the App to process content you do not have the right to access, to attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent any licensing or feature-gating mechanism beyond what is permitted by your license tier, or to use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
You retain all rights to the documents and content you open, edit, or export using the App. We do not claim any ownership over your documents. As described in our Privacy Policy, document content is processed locally in your browser or on your device and is not transmitted to Applings Studio as part of normal App operation.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that document conversion, editing, or export will preserve every element of formatting, layout, or content from your original file. Keep backups of any documents that matter to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Applings Studio and DTM STUDIO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, content, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any loss, corruption, or alteration of documents processed through the App. Your use of the App, and any conversion, editing, or export performed through it, is at your own risk.
DocVeew Pro is offered as a one-time purchase. Prices are listed on the applicable order page at the time of purchase and may change at any time without affecting purchases already completed. Payment processing for DocVeew Pro is handled by a third-party checkout provider; Applings Studio does not store your full payment card details. Any refund requests should be directed to hello@applings.studio and will be handled in accordance with the policy stated on the order page at the time of your purchase.
The App loads certain fonts and software libraries from third-party content delivery networks in order to function. These third parties may receive ordinary network request information (such as your IP address) when those resources are loaded. Applings Studio does not send the contents of your documents to these third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App, and may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
